Privacy

WhichStreet is a London map for comparing postcodes. This notice explains what the site stores about you.

Account

If you sign in, we store your name, email address, and a session so you can stay signed in. Google sign-in shares the name and email Google returns for that account.

What you publish

Ratings, comments, and home listings are stored with your account. You can mark a rating or comment as anonymous. Anonymous still means we keep the link to your account so we can enforce limits and remove abuse. Listings show the address and details you enter.

Map data

Postcode locations come from ONS National Statistics Postcode Lookup centroids, which include Ordnance Survey intellectual property. Scores also use public sources such as police.uk, school location data, and OpenStreetMap. Those sources are not personal data about you.

How long we keep it

Account data, ratings, comments, and listings stay until you delete the listing, we remove content that breaks the terms, or you ask for your account to be deleted. Session cookies expire when you log out or the session ends.

Your choices

You can use the map without an account. You can reject non-essential cookies in the banner. To ask for a copy of your account data or for deletion, write from the email address on your profile and include that address in the message.
